Tambuwal rallies North West businessmen for Atiku
Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State inaugurated the leaders of the Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara State Chapters of the North West Business Communities for Atiku 2023 (NWBC4A).
The team supporting former vice president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition for next year’s elections has been advised by the governor to seek more supporters for Atiku to win the next election.
Tambuwal, while thanking the contributors who brought the business community together to work for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), described their efforts as commendable and commendable.
Observing that Nigerians and locals have at different times experienced the economic policies of the DPP and the APC, he advised that it is time for them to do a comparative analysis and realize that ‘Atiku is the best candidate for 2023, for being a reputable businessman.
Tambuwal, who expressed his confidence in the choice of Atiku, underlined that “if he is elected, there will be a massive turnaround in the economy of the country”.
In his remarks, the group’s top boss, Senator Abdul Ahmad Ningi, hailed the group’s initiative and tireless efforts to secure Atiku Abubakar’s victory in the 2023 general election.
Recalling that upon its inception, the group’s northeastern chapters raised more than 100 million naira as a contribution to enable Atiku to purchase his nomination form, Ningi said that Atiku is a globally recognized technocrat who deserves everyone’s support.
He assured that NWBC4A will give full support and cooperation to Atiku Abubakar to ensure his success, just as he praised Governor Tambuwal for his efforts in the same direction from the party’s primary election till now.
In his address, National Coordinator of NWBC4A, Dr. Ali Bappayo Adamu, assured that the group will not waver in its support for PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
He added that the business community will do everything humanly possible for the success of PDP candidates across the country.
