Hotel owner, businesswoman hostage, gang rape on the pretext of work
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A woman from Gwalior was allegedly raped by two men.
It is said that the two defendants took the woman to an apartment under the pretext of giving her work and took her hostage and gang-raped her.
On the woman’s complaint, Vishwavidhyalaya Police Station registered a case and arrested one defendant while the other is still at large.
One of the defendants is the operator of the city’s most famous Ramaya hotel while the other is a grinding businessman.
The 30-year-old victim, in her statement to police, said her home’s financial situation was not good. So she asked an acquaintance to find her a job. He introduced her to a certain Ram Niwas Sharma, operator of the Ramaya hotel.
The accused hotelier, under the guise of giving her a job, took her to an apartment in Balwant Nagar, where the other accused businessman, Amit Mishra, was already present.
The two defendants then threatened her, held her hostage and took turns raping her.
After the incident, they locked her in the room. Looking for an opportunity, the woman escaped and reached the police station.
