“Mayors and governors, more than anyone, know what it means to rely on people and solve problems, every day in their communities, and, and there are no Democratic roads or Republican bridges,” said President Biden.
Just a week ago, Biden traveled to Crystal Lake, meeting with Governor Pritzker and others in his effort to gain support for his Build Back Better plan.

Subsequently, Pritzker spoke about his meeting with the president.
“We are delighted to meet with the President to talk about this infrastructure plan, as it is extremely important for us across the country to rebuild our roads and bridges, our waterways, our airports and broadband,” Governor Pritzker said. .
He pledged to help the president pass the infrastructure bill.
