Police said Singh, Aryan Dixit (28) and another associate, also a software engineer, would target wealthy businessmen via Tinder. The woman would initiate talks to lure the victim and later set up a meeting, police said.

The arrests of the three defendants were made by the Delhi Police Criminal Division after receiving a complaint from a businessman. In the complaint, the businessman said he received calls from an unknown person asking him for â¹ 1 crore and threatening to post his nude and transformed photos with a woman on social media sites, according to the police.

DCP (Crime) Manoj C said that during the investigation, technical surveillance was put in place, manual information was collected and the location of the suspect was identified. “A raid was carried out and one of the suspects identified as Rajkishor Singh was arrested by Gurugram who revealed his involvement and revealed the names of his two accomplices,” the DCP said.
Another raid was carried out at DLF Phase II in Gurugram, from where the woman was arrested while her co-accused and friend Dixit was arrested in Chhatarpur, south Delhi, he said.
During the search, two handbags equipped with a spy camera, a memory card, a USB key, a laptop containing videos and photos of the victims and a mobile phone used to extortion calls were recovered, he added.
Police said Dixit, an MBA graduate, ran an online clothing business. Singh had previously been arrested in a case registered at Connaught Place station, they added.
